It traps sunlight to maintain warmth inside and protects crops from weather variations, soil-borne diseases, and excess moisture. However, many farmers struggle to manage critical environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and soil moisture, which directly impact plant growth and crop yield.

To address this issue, the Greenhouse Monitoring and Control System offers an efficient automation-based solution. Powered by an Arduino Uno (ATmega328), the system uses multiple sensors and actuators to monitor real-time greenhouse conditions and respond accordingly.

The system includes a temperature sensor that activates a DC fan when heat levels rise and turns it off when temperatures drop. A soil moisture sensor checks the moisture content in the soil, and when the level drops, it triggers a water pump to irrigate the plants. In low-light conditions, detected by the LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), a bulb turns on to provide artificial lighting. These actions are coordinated through the microcontroller, while an LCD display shows live readings to the user.

The system also includes a Wi-Fi module for remote monitoring, making it ideal for smart agriculture. This automation not only minimizes human intervention but also ensures optimal plant health and better productivity.
