The Wind Mill Power Generation Project

It is a very good kit for school students for making science projects-model
This is a simple but interesting model, that actually generate electrical energy from wind.
Here is a model of windmill that shows the prototype of actual one.
It uses a battery to run an electric DC motor attached to a turbine blades and LED Lights as electric poles. This model uses electricity but can be modify with some changes.
A 9V battery is connected to LED lights and DC motor. While making the connections, all wires are to be connected under the base and paste another base to hide all connections by using double side tape.
The complete model can be decorated by using Hut, grass, road, car, electric poles etc. battery can be hide inside the hut.

Plant the grass can also be used to uplift the looks of model. A windmill is a mill that converts the energy of wind into rotational energy by means of vanes called sails or blades.
Centuries ago windmills usually were used to mill grain, pump water, or both. Thus they often were gristmills, wind-pump, or both.
The majority of modern windmills take the form of wind turbines used to generate electricity, or wind-pumps used to pump water either for land drainage or to extract groundwater

Windmills are machines that convert energy from the wind into useful work by rotating.
The rotation of a windmill often powers a motor or generator used to produce electricity or mechanical work (moving objects).
Using wind power to turn the rotation of an object into useful energy and work dates back to 1st century Greece, and wind wheels are also well documented in 7th century Persia.
They have been used to lift things up and down, especially water from the ground, to power machines that crush grain and process food, and more recently to power motors to generate electricity.

Windmills are good examples of wheel-and-axle machines.
The wheel is able to rotate freely on an axis, harnessing the wind’s energy to move it by having sails, or shapes that can catch the wind.
